Given how frequently they churned those those sequals out, they could've made one already for all we know...

I'd love to see a Crow movie set in the Old West, Feudal Japan, Medieval England, Ancient Rome, Ancient Greece, and America in the year 3013.

Call me a bad person, but I would too. If only because we need more movies set during Ancient Roman, Fuedal Japan, and Medieval England/France. I also wouldn't mind one involving Musketeers.

I'd love to see a version of the Crow where a black soldier comes home from the Korean war and avenges his own murder at the hands of the KKK, because seeing a hulking black revenant with a stark white face would be a very striking image. Also because you know there would have to be a scene where a Klan higher-up got crucified and set on fire. Which is like a minimum of what he deserves.

We could combine that with the Old West and make it a Buffalo Soldier, returning to his home in the South after his service?

Or a Native American avenging the death of his family from wicked rum dealers out on the frontier.

There could be so many cool stories for this fanchise, if someone put in two bits of thought.

Or, in the cae of American Strays, five of them - only one of which was remotely worthwhile. No, wait a minute. Luke Perry constantly being beaten up - it's not very plot driven, but it's quite satisfying.

Seriously! But instead they keep retreading the same ground as the first movie, over and over again.

There's a story collection out there - I forget the title, but my library has it - that actually does put in the thought. Among the stories are ones with a feudal knight as a Crow and one where the Greek storyteller Homer becomes one.

The possibilities are endless: Crow vs pirates, Crow in the world of Greek myths, Crow on a Romulan warbird, Crow as a striking coalminer, caveman Crow, Sir Crow tilting a lance and maybe going off to the crowsades, Crow occupying Wall Street, Crow and Anakin Skywalker haltingly exploring their tender passions for each other...

Both the Crow and Anakin hate sand.

Congratulations SSM and Mike: that may be the fastest I ever went from intrigued to repelled by an idea.

First image from Hotel Transylvania, an upcoming animated film about a monster hotel...You know, it's bad enough that they have Adam Sandler voicing Dracula...but does Dracula have to kind of look like him, too?...

First shot from the Gore Verbinski Lone Ranger.

That certainly is an interesting look for Tonto. :?

I'm really excited for this because I think having Tonto join Norwegian black metal band Gorgoroth is a really interesting path for the character...

And they will do battle of the bands against Thor.

I'm really no fan of weak post conversions but at the very least this means next year brings the definitive Dinosaur movie back to theaters. Jurassic Park is headed back to theaters July 19, 2013! Man, I cannot love that more. And on the off chance we get a good post-conversion (Green Lantern was solid) then wow.
