Re: Have I the Right to Tube?
Apparently between MORTAL KOMBAT 1 & 2, Midway had worked on a shooter / beat 'em up (ala NARC) based on JUDGE DREDD, that utilized the same "digitized actors" graphical style. The results have to be seen to be believed... I'm just saying, that's one pudgy Judge Dredd.

I like a lot of the little details (the people walking tiny Goros, the one mook fight that's literally one guy cloning himself), but damn does that game ever look like it'd be horrible to play.

That Judge Dredd game was actually never officially released. It only went as far to arcade testing sites, where it obviously didn't go over very well, so Midway never wound up releasing it. The ROM's available, though, for those who are curious. Also, I never knew Freddy Krueger recorded an 80s pop album... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fapwDPKzXLE

Finally, someone posted my favorite MadTV bit - 'Rocket Revengers,' a dead on spoof of old sci-fi serials, complete with stereotyped Chinese villain. Rocket Revengers: Atlantica (pt 1)Rocket Revengers: Atlantica (pt 2)Rocket Revengers: The Super GermanRocket Revengers: in Excito-Color
