Post Looking for an old video game, actually
I have vague memories of going to my neighbor's house as a young kid and playing the dozens and dozens of games that he had on his Commodore 64. One of the games was an adventure game that began with your character entering a castle/mansion. All I remember is that the game asked you what you wanted to do and would give you alternatives (i.e. Press 1 if you want to go down the stairs. Press 2 if you want to go to the room on the left. etc.). Would anyone know what game this is?

Mods: I hope you don't mind me looking for a game in the MOVIE Search section.

Don't mind that, but you may want to post more detail. What you described was pretty much every role playing game made in the early early days of DOS gaming for the Commodore 64, Apple 2e, etc.

I know Commodore 64 did make a computer version of the Choose Your Own Adventure books.

Ah, I used to watch one exactly like that...Didn't think of that for ages...it was Indiana Jones or James Bond or something. Man, I love it.
