Oh this one is gonna be sooo cool!! It reminds of of 'Galaxy Of Dinosaurs'. It has been in production for several years now, but is finally in post production. It features stop-motion spfx much like the old Ray Harryhausen classics. The director Larry Arpin is now touching up the spfx and hope's to have a trailer by year's end, because stop-motion effects take time folks. Here's the official website : http://galacticraiders.net/ and here's a test video of some of it's spectacular special effects: http://robojapan.blogspot.com/2008....ns.html I'm just glad to see that this technique of spfx hasn't died-off. I wonder how good the finished product will look like?? Either way I wish this director a lot of luck with it. :p

Hhmmnn?? God question. It's listed on the imdb as due out 2004!! I'm sure it doesn't take all that long, but it's an indie so they have to secure funds etc.. Obviously, it takes longer than most forms of fx. ???

It took Curse of the Were-Rabbit a number of years to get shot, and that was with several teams working on multiple sets simultaneously. So, yeah, stop-motion takes more time, and even more if it's just, say, one guy doing it. But still... that's a long time.

Finally an update on this awesome little stop-motion sci-fi dino flick!! Who here besides me is really looking foward to a new stop-mo monster movie? Ahhh...the good ol' days! Larry Arpin, the director, has passed us along a brand new image of one bad-*** dino from the film called; "Vorax" that we'll certainly be seeing more of. Also as another great note; the film's now in post and production is finally winding down. Can't wait!!:

Also as an added bonus[because I somehow failed to bring it here earlier-oops-] two behind-the-scenes stills the director shared with us a short while back:
