My friend once saw a really bad Christian film (probably on TBN), that concerned a man getting lost on his way to some town and encountering people from Biblical times. Every time he says the name of his location, the people hear it as "Jerusalem" and try to show him the way there. He continues to get frustrated about it. We think it was made in the 80s or 90s, but he saw it in 2010 on TV.

I know a lot of these really bad Christian films slip between the cracks, so I wouldn't be surprised if no one has ever heard of anything remotely like this.

My best guess is that it's a short film called THE DAYLIGHT ZONE, but it would apparently kill the filmmakers to keep their trailer on YouTube so I can't say for certain. The description of the film says that there's a secular person in the (then) present day who doesn't believe Jesus existed and that he's going to be driving through The Daylight Zone on the way to Johnson City. There's also a truck on the DVD cover.
