Seeing Sonny Chiba make The Face before he single-handedly destroys all those who oppose his mighty fists always gives me a charge.

Thor bringing his full godly powers to bear is a blast. In the first trade of the new stuff, when Iron Man tries to register him and gets pulverized, was awesome. Slightly less awesome, but still great, in the second trade when he's fighting Bor and calls the Avengers to help him and Norman Osborne and the Dark Avengers show up instead, his reaction is basically, "Aw, really? Come on, now." And then knocks Iron Patriot halfway across New York with a lamp post while Bor pounds each one of the other Dark Avengers into the ground with one punch apiece before they go back to their mighty viking battle.

Makes me think of the roly-poly guy he fights to a standstill-now there's a guy who's good at his job and tons of fun to watch.

One that was mentioned but can't be underrated: Tony Stark in design mode. One of my favorite parts of Iron Man was watching Stark go through the process of building and rebuilding the armor. It made the attack on Afghanistan that much more epic that we knew what it took to get there.

Okay, in Metal Gear Solid 2, most of the game you do NOT get to play as Solid Snake. When you do, you do alright against the bad guys. Then, there's a cinema about 75% of the way through the game where he has to swoop in and try to rescue another character and you just watch him. A bunch of baddies swarm him, and takes them all out in seconds, with just his handgun, and you just get a shiver and wonder why you can't be that badass when you play as him.

Crap, unintentional pun! Seriously, I love watching that guy fight-a guy that big, moving that well, it's awesome. Plus he reminds me of my second Sensei in Judo, who was also known as "The Italian Yoda".

Is this the sniper scene because otherwise amazingly you CAN be that guy. You're not supposed to but it's a great stress reliever. On hard difficulty, I could still just do headshot after headshot. I sorta thought of it as a minigame like the crazy taxi and police missions that are built into GTA series. I sorta did it as a release every once and a while. Then I went back and played the game right.

Ironically, I spent a lot of time in MGS4 wishing I could play as Cyborg Ninja Raiden.

This is going to be a little fruity of me, but this last season of America's Best Dance Crew (stop laughing at me!) had a crew called Heavy Impact, which was a bunch of large fellers who were more nimble and athletic than most of the skinny people. It was pretty impressive.

yeah, I mean at the end of the sniper escort level. And the aim isn't the cool part, it's how crazy fast he does it, seemingly aiming by hearing alone, turning and shooting far quicker than conventional aiming should grant you.

Mark Gor in A Better Tomorrow. Watching the way he walks down the hall while flirting with some girl, simultaneously hiding handguns in flower pots, and then showing up in the dude's room, ready to blast....There's a man who knows how to do his job and do it well.

"Chiun, you're incredible!"

"No! I am better than that!"

And by this, I mean not only is Chiun intensely good at his job, but so is Joel Grey.

Up until I reached the following sentence, I assumed you meant Jon-Mikl Thor's "By the Power of Aqua-Net... I HAVE THE PUFF-MULLET!" moment right before he squares off against the completely immobile rubber Satan in Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare.

Absolutely, now watch Apollo 13 and then watch George Pal's Conquest of Space to get the opposite effect.
