 Monster or 'Monsters'? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lFxXFrWmJ4Looks like a real giant squid to me, has anyone seen anything else from 'Monsters' though? I heard the aliens are giant squids like this thing...

Oh, and I think corey.blau is mentioning/plugging "Monsters", which is a low-budget indie film about alien spores that land on earth and begin an "alien invasion" by embiggifying native species. Well, if that's the "Monsters" he's mentioning in the title at least, as that's a pretty generic name for a movie.

Re: Monster or 'Monsters'? Yep, I think you're right about that. And guys, this is clearly a very small, very dead octopus rapidly dragged in front of a camera. The only live footage of a giant squid remains the video taken by Japanese researchers a few years back.

Re: Monster or 'Monsters'? Oh, it's definitely a fake. But I must admit that aside from the fact that the cephalopod in question is clearly deceased and its movement leaves not so much as a ripple in its wake, it's a pretty impressive fake.
