Re: Meat-sploitation There was a big whopping section of "Meat Fear" in Hoopielberg's Poltergeist: First the steak goes all gross, then the chicken leg crawls with maggots, then the guy starts tearing his face into raw meat. But probably not enough to qualify for pure Meatsploitation.

Re: Meat-sploitation I think Motel Hell is actually a reasonably close match for the theme. Alas, Day of the Animals is about a diverse collection of wild animals attacking hikers; there's nothing about the food supply getting fed up with being the food supply in it.

Now, I have to think that if a few radioactive pelts slipped through at the Kiev Furry Hats With The Earflaps Center quality control conveyor belts, in the shadow of Chernobyl, we could have a really boss meatsploitation movie on our hands. Or on our heads. Or on Vladimir Putin's head.
