Ya got a barn, blood and a llama. Now all we need is Monty Python singing like mad gouchos in the background. HAMMERHEAD! if movies about cross breeding animals with hooman beans counts.

 Re: Meat-sploitation
Well, I thought we were talking about scientific alteration, like GMO or the hormones used in Lepus. But if we're just talking about the revenge of the farm animals, heck, we could even use the disgruntled humans in Final Days Of Planet Earth or -- dear God -- Battlefield Earth.

 Re: Meat-sploitation
There was a big whopping section of "Meat Fear" in Hoopielberg's Poltergeist: First the steak goes all gross, then the chicken leg crawls with maggots, then the guy starts tearing his face into raw meat. But probably not enough to qualify for pure Meatsploitation.

What about the kicking, bleeding Cornish Game Hens in Eraserhead?

I'd think The Beginning of the End fits here.

 Re: Meat-sploitation
No. No it wouldn't. It's about a fast food chain megaconglomerate building over an indian burial ground, and the spirits co-mingle with all the dead meat to make chicken/indian hybrid zombies. would Day of the Animals count?

 Re: Meat-sploitation
I think Motel Hell is actually a reasonably close match for the theme. Alas, Day of the Animals is about a diverse collection of wild animals attacking hikers; there's nothing about the food supply getting fed up with being the food supply in it.

I've been rather fond of those, too, ever since it turned out that that's what the Lake Cess Monster was.

 Re: Meat-sploitation
Lake Cess Monster? When? Where? How many killed by those big, yellow, buck teeth?

 Re: Meat-sploitation
I thought Nutria teeth were reddish pink for some reason.
According to Andrew Zimmern, they're actually quite nutritious and not altogether unflavorful.

 Re: Meat-sploitation
The Russians swear by them for making those furry hats with the earflaps, too. Now, I have to think that if a few radioactive pelts slipped through at the Kiev Furry Hats With The Earflaps Center quality control conveyor belts, in the shadow of Chernobyl, we could have a really boss meatsploitation movie on our hands. Or on our heads. Or on Vladimir Putin's head.
Picture it: the hat biting the head that wears it, spluttering "BRAIIIIIIINS" in Russian...Santo, how do you say "BRAIIIIIINS" po russki?
