STUART GORDON - LEGENDARY DIRECTOR OF HORROR CLASSICS LIKE RE-ANIMATOR, FROM BEYOND, AND MANY OTHERS!

Yes, we're pleased to welcome back esteemed director and survivor of the 1992 24-Hour Horror Marathon Stuart Gordon as our guest of honor. As part of our celebration of Stuart's work, we’ll be screening his acclaimed Showtime Masters of Horror episode The Black Cat (starring Re-animator’s Jeffrey Combs as Edgar Allan Poe) and a 35mm print of his classic Lovecraftian splatterfest From Beyond. We've also offered Stuart the opportunity to select a film of his choice for inclusion in the lineup, so after an audience Q+A session, he'll introduce a screening of Gaspar Noe's 2002 revenge shocker Irréversible.

As part of this headlong plunge into terror, we’ll also be offering a cornucopia of creepy cinematic delights, including:

The Columbus Premiere of the undead thrill ride I Sell the Dead starring Dominic Monaghan and Ron Perlman
A rare 35mm screening of Edgar Ulmer’s atmospheric 1934 version of The Black Cat, featuring terror titans Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi
The immortal Vincent Price in Roger Corman’s Technicolor, cinemascope, Poe-riffic The Masque of the Red Death
George A. Romero’s underground zombie classic Day of the Dead
Kurt Russell in John Carpenter’s icy, classic remake of The Thing
John McNaughton’s still controversial and shocking Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer
Seductive vampiress Delphine Seyrig in the lush, erotic Daughters of Darkness

Yeah....I'm really eager to see Ulmer's Black Cat on the big screen....one of my favorite films. Plus, after having seen trailers for I Sell The Dead, I'm pretty hyped about seeing it.
